The “Bachelor of Engineering in Timber Engineering Dual’’ offered by FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences is a study program that combines theory and practice. Students must do an apprenticeship during the course of studies in the period of three months and attend classes during the remaining six semesters. The program has a duration of nine semesters. During the studies, the program aims to give general knowledge in civil engineering and extensive knowledge in wood engineering. Students simultaneously will obtain technical experience through the training and methodological experience through the classes. Graduates can pursue a wide range of job roles within the timber industry – in construction companies, engineering offices, and more.
