The “Bachelor of Engineering in Timber Engineering’’ offered by FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences is a seven semesters study program that is a specialization field of general civil engineering. The degree is authorized by the NRW Chamber of Civil Engineers and allows graduates to be able to submit construction papers. Through this study program, students should acquire in-depth knowledge in civil engineering and subject-specific skills in wood engineering. The program includes a practical semester that aims to teach students the required job skills and improve their personal competencies. Graduates of this program are qualified to work on technical projects within timber engineering.
