The study of Free Art aims to introduce students to various creative techniques and give them the means to express themselves through art. Free Art programs are mostly practically oriented, because in order to be a successful artist, you need a lot of experience and a good portfolio. During the program, students are taught a wide range of subjects – Painting, Drawing, Printing, Sculpting, Photography, Artistic Concepts, Art in Media, Film and Video, Sound, Spatial Concepts and more. Students learn to work independently and organize and manage themselves, and gain skills that will help them further themselves professionally – project management, creative and innovative thinking, analysis, artistic techniques, the ability to authentically express themselves, meet clients’ and companies’ demands, work under pressure and meet deadlines. Graduates have the opportunity to work as freelance artists, which has both advantages and disadvantages – it provides more freedom and creative expression, but there is no guaranteed monthly wage. Employment in an advertizing company, marketing agency, art gallery, game design, consultancy, graphic design and multimedia are also great options.
