FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management offers the application-oriented study program “Master of Science in Public Health’’. This is a part-time course of study with a duration of four plus one semester. The program is geared towards students who want to acquire scientific knowledge in analyzing health systems as well as the overall health development of people. Students acquire knowledge of the economic and social-scientific structures and processes of the German and European health care systems. The degree content features courses like Basics of Public Health, Health Policy, Law in Health Care, Scientific Methodology, Health Economics, and other. Graduates will be able to work in public or private health care institutions, research institutions, insurance companies, clinics, health authorities, etc.
