The dual “Bachelor of Engineering in Service Engineering” program at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences is with a length of 6 semesters. Mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and business administration are all covered in the interdisciplinary curriculum (service management). Students learn everything about industrial services that are provided after the sale of machines and systems, such as spare parts pricing, drafting of service contracts, use of field service technicians, marketing of service products, and market analysis, in addition to the technical basics of a mechanical engineering degree. Admission requires a higher education entry qualification, as well as a vocational training contract and an additional agreement to the vocational training contract for the dual course.
