The “Bachelor of Arts in Social Work” program at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences is with a length of 6 full-time semesters. In addition to seminar-based instruction, project-oriented work in small groups, training in conversational skills and conflict management, reflections on studies and practice, and an interdisciplinary case seminar, the course offers a variety of teaching and learning methods. The course is followed by a year of recognition (optional), after which governmental recognition as a social worker/social pedagogue is granted. Admission requirements include a university entrance qualification.
