The transnational "Bachelor of Arts in Social Work :translational" program at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences prepares students for professional work by providing a generalistically oriented course of study while also allowing for an exemplary focus on international and transnational topics, which introduces a specific field of social work. This bachelor's program is transnational, which means it covers cultural similarities (and differences), the repercussions of global communication networks and political interdependencies, as well as social problems, social orders, and rules that transcend national borders. The normal study period is eight full-time semesters. Admission to the course is limited, and spots are assigned according to a local NC procedure.
