The “Bachelor of Science in Chemistry” is a German-taught program with a duration of 6 semesters. At the beginning of the course, students will dive into the basics of Physics, Mathematics, all branches of Chemistry, as well as technical English. Later on, they can undertake elective modules and broaden their horizons. During their education, participants will acquire sound theoretical and practical knowledge. The BSc is research-oriented and aims to teach students key skills and tools to plan and conduct their own scientific work. Furthermore, the BSc promotes the development of soft skills such as project management, organisation and communication, teamwork, etc. Graduates have various occupational opportunities such as positions in the chemical industry, public service, metalworking and ceramics industry, as well as research and development. The BSc is also an excellent foundation for a later Master’s degree.
