The “Master of Science in Computational Materials Science” is an English-taught program with a duration of 4 semesters. The course is suitable for applicants with a  Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or Solid-state Physics. The curriculum consists of multifaceted courses focused on modeling and numerical simulation of deformation and failure processes in semiconductor, functional, and structural materials. Throughout their education, students will intensify their theoretical knowledge and acquire practical relevance. Furthermore, the MSc is research-oriented and aims to provide participants with industry-specific skills and tools needed to plan and conduct their own projects. Upon completion of the program, graduates are prepared to handle complex tasks and pursue leadership positions in automotive, metallurgy, microelectronics, semiconductor technology, aerospace, and more. They can also go into academic work and opt for a position in universities or research centres.
