The “Bachelor of Science in Geoecology” is a 6-semester program conducted in German. The curriculum is diverse and consists of courses in Biology-Ecology And Microbiology, Atmospheric and Climate Research, Pedology, Hydrology and Hydrogeology, Geochemistry and Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Law and Environmental Management. Students will acquire in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge. They’ll get a fundamental understanding of the current environmental issues and how to overcome them. The BSc is practice-oriented and provides participants with social, methodological, and technical skills needed for day-to-day operations. The BSc prepares graduates for work in public administration, engineering offices and consulting firms, insurance companies, universities and other research institutions, and more. They can also opt for a later Master’s degree.
