The “Bachelor of Science in Geoinformatics and Geophysics” is a German-taught program with a duration of 6 semesters. The curriculum includes interdisciplinary courses in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science And Geosciences, Methods of Geophysical Exploration and Geoinformatical Data Processing. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to tailor their education by choosing elective modules to carry out. Throughout their education, students will receive extensive theoretical and practical training. Furthermore, the BSc is research-oriented and it aims to teach students how to plan and execute scientific work on their own. Graduates are prepared for leadership positions in the field of Exploration and Use of Renewable Energies, Geo-Engineering, Raw Material Exploration, Software Development, and Research And Development. They can also further their education and opt for a Master’s degree.
