The “Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering” is a German-taught program with a duration of 3 semesters. It is designed for applicants with a corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at TU Freiberg. The MSc aims to further the knowledge of students and provide them with practical relevance. The MSc offers participants industry-specific specialisations to focus on, i.e. Decentralized and Regenerative Energy Systems, Electromobility Thermoprocessing systems, Gas Technology, Automation, and more. Throughout their education, students will gain in-depth theoretical knowledge and acquire hands-on experience. Furthermore, the MSc promotes the development of soft skills such as leadership, project management, teamwork, communication and organisation, and more. Graduates are qualified to pursue managerial positions in Research and Development, Project Planning and Construction, Management, Production Control and Monitoring, Sales, Consulting, and more.
