Description

The practice-oriented consecutive degree program “Master of Arts in Peace Education” spans a standard duration of 3 semesters. Offered by Protestant University of Applied Sciences Freiburg, the full-time course of study provides students with a socio-political curriculum and an opportunity to explore the first peace science course in Germany with a pedagogical focus. Moreover, aiming to strengthen the practical relevance, research and teaching are integrated. In addition, participants are able to expertise in social work, politics, psychology, pedagogy, theology and religious studies. Upon graduation, participates are able to build successful careers as conflict counselors or specialists in peace work, e.g. in the school or extracurricular area, in social work and many more.
