Description
The further training “Emergency Pedagogy: Vicious Trauma Cycle” offered by Free University of Stuttgart teaches participants how to recognize comparable symptoms and how to deal with trauma-related behaviours properly. The course is suitable for people working in pedagogy, therapeutics, or medicine, who have finished professional training and have appropriate professional experience. During the early stages of traumatized development, emergency pedagogy is implemented. It aims to help children and adolescents in processing traumatic experiences and activating their self-healing abilities through educational interventions. Main techniques in emergency situations ae relationship work, rhythm, movement and artistic activities. Three block weeks, along with an internship and three weekends make up the whole training. It`s provided in collaboration with the Friends of Waldorf Education at Stuttgart's Free University and the Parzival School Center in Karlsruhe. Some of the topics that will be addressed throughout the course are emergency and trauma pedagogy, acute and early intervention, relationship and attachment pedagogy, etc.
