The three-year study program “Bachelor of Arts in Waldorf Education” offered by Free University of Stuttgart provides students with the needed knowledge and skills to be eligible to be admitted later to a master`s course and then be able to work as teachers. Throughout the first year students learn the foundations of pedagogy and philosophy, cultural history, mathematics, scientific working methods, etc. During the second academic year, participants will gain knowledge in Fine arts, English, music, sports, and other disciplines. The last year contains subjects such as development theory, methodology, and didactics. Students also should write their Bachelor`s thesis throughout the third year. Graduates who decide not to continue with a Master`s program can work as class helpers or in the all-day school field.
