The two-year postgraduate study program “Master of Arts Upper-Level Teacher at Waldorf Schools” offered by Free University of Stuttgart is designed for academics who have studied a school-related discipline and wish to apply their expertise to working with children and adolescents. Throughout the first year students will learn epistemology, methodology and didactics of the individual subjects, etc. During the second one participants will gain knowledge in methodology and didactics, pedagogy of adolescents, and other relevant subjects. Students need to write a Master`s thesis as a conclusion of the course of study. The degree qualifies graduates to teach previously studied subject at the upper level on their own. Moreover, it guarantees the ability to get teaching permits in all German federal states as well as worldwide.
