With a duration of six semesters, the degree program “Bachelor of Science in Food Chain Management” is offered by the Geisenheim University. The bachelor imparts specialist knowledge about food production, quality management, logistics, trade and marketing of food. Students acquire the know-how and management methods to optimize food production and procurement processes as well as supply chains and make them more sustainable. “Bachelor of Science in Food Logistics and Management” covers topics such as logistics, business administration, digitization and food processing. The content is supplemented with sustainability topics and quality and trade management where students obtain comprehension in the special features of value chains, marketing, organization and leadership from different perspectives.
