Description
Offered by the Geisenheim University, the “Master of Science in Crop and Horticultural Science” is with a total length of four semesters. The focus of the first two semesters is geared towards imparting both theoretical and methodological competence. During the compulsory module “Scientific Work”, students learn to develop scientific questions from research results and to derive hypotheses while the "Methods for data management and analysis in horticulture" module provides to the participants the necessary knowledge for planning and evaluating scientific experiments and interpreting their results. The prospective students have the opportunity to also select cross-sectional modules for instance from areas of the biodiversity, climate change, biotechnology and molecular biology.
