Description
The cooperative Master of Science degree course “Vinifera EuroMaster” is offered by Geisenheim University with a duration of four semesters. Entirely English-taught, the program provides to the participants an economic view of the wine markets, its structures and regulatory systems (OIV and CMO) and provides a strong understanding of the production and consumption situation, international trade, bulk wine markets, and the economics of international firms who operate in the wine sector. Students obtain a managerial view of the wine market with a special emphasis on international business strategies of wine companies and marketing, both at strategic and operational level and become familiar with the market planning, business positioning, marketing mix management and more. During the course, graduates will be able to apply the statistical methods commonly used in viticulture, enology and wine economics as well as to interpret the results obtained by using statistics and identify the technical and scientific questions and problems.
