Description
The double degree Master of Science program “Vitis-Vinum” is offered by Geisenheim University with a duration of four semesters. Both English and Italian-taught, the program’s focus primarily falls on wine cultivation, wine-making and wine marketing, as well as quality management, analysis and certification. By providing a strong understanding of enological procedures, the students are taught how to develop effective marketing strategies and obtain high-level knowledge and skills that enable to work efficiently in the wine industry. Graduates of the program have access to jobs in management and consultancy roles in the fields of viticulture and enology worldwide for instance in management and consultancy in large wine-making companies, high-profile positions on boards and in associations and consortiums operating in the field of vine-growing and wine-making, analysis, control, certification and promotion of grape and wine products in public, private companies and more.
