The Graduate Institute Geneva offers the doctoral program “PhD in Development Economics”. This course has the purpose to expand the students’ knowledge and academic skills in the development economics, including theories and models. Therefore, the participants will deepen their understanding in the areas of methodology, economics researches and analysis, micro and macroeconomics, sustainable development, finances and many others. After successful graduation the students will be highly qualified to work within different international organisations, financial departments, health sector, development management, migration services, international economics departments, education, etc. The entry requirements for this course consist of finalised Bachelor and Master’s degrees in the area of economics.
