Description
The “Master of Laws in International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights” is provided by the Graduate Institute Geneva as a full-time, one-year, English-taught program. It aims to expand the academic knowledge and skills of the students, in connection with international humanitarian law and human rights. Furthermore, the participants will deepen their understanding in the fields of international law principles, human resource management, criminal law, European conflicts, cultural issues, international humanitarian organisations, public law, international refugee law, innovation, government rules and many others. The future graduates will be highly qualified to work as international humanitarian lawyers within human rights departments, public services, international humanitarian organisations, international refugee networks, etc. The students also get a chance to do an internship. The admission requirements for this course consist of a finalised English-taught Bachelor’s degree in law, as well as language skills in English and French.
