The “Master of Arts in Applied Family Sciences” is provided by the HAW Hamburg University of Applied Sciences as a five-semester, German-taught program. The main goal of this course is to introduce the participants to the world of applied family sciences, including principles and theories. Furthermore, the students will deepen their knowledge and academic skills in family support, health care management, social sciences, social work, methodology, family sciences innovation, etc. At the end of their studies, the participants will need to prepare a Master’s thesis. The students also get a chance to do an internship throughout their studies. The entry requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in any related major, as well as motivational letter, CV and language proficiency: German DSH2.
