The HAW Hamburg University of Applied Sciences offers the “Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology”. This course is a German-taught, full-time, seven-semester program. It aims to develop the participants’ knowledge and understanding in the fields of biotechnology, physics, chemistry, biochemistry, mathematics, business management, accounting, technology, microbiology and many others. Both lectures and practical seminars are provided throughout this undergraduate course. At the end of their studies, the participants will need to prepare a Bachelor’s thesis. The future graduates will be well-prepared for variety of working positions, in connection with the biotechnology. The entry requirement for this course includes a general university entry qualification.
