Description
The HAW Hamburg University of Applied Sciences offers the “Bachelor of Engineering in Hazard Control” as a seven-semester, German-taught program. It aims to introduce the students to the basics of hazard control. Furthermore, the students will need to expand their participants’ knowledge and skills in sociology, logistics, psychology, occupational safety, fire prevention, engineering, risk assessment, human resource management and many others. At the end of their studies, the participants will need to prepare a Bachelor’s thesis. The students also get the chance to do an internship. The future graduates will be well-prepared to work within human resource management, government, logistics departments, safety organisations, etc. The admission requirements include a general university entry qualification.
