The HAW Hamburg University of Applied Sciences offers the “Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences”. This course is a German-taught, six-semester program, and it is provided as a full-time and part-time course of studies, depending on each students’ choice. It aims to introduce the students to the basics of health sciences. Furthermore, the participants will get familiar with health concepts, health management and economics, psychology, epidemiology, sociology, ethics and many others. At the end of their studies, the participants will need to prepare a Bachelor’s thesis. The future graduates will be highly qualified for variety of working positions, in connection with the health sciences and health industry. The entry requirements for this course include a general university entry qualification.
