The HAW Hamburg University of Applied Sciences offers the “Bachelor of Arts in Illustration”. This course is a German-taught, full-time, seven-semester program. The main goal of this Bachelor’s degree is to introduce the students to the basics of illustration. Furthermore, it aims to develop the students’ knowledge and skills in creative writing, book illustration, media, computer services, photography, culture philosophy, art, sociology, and many others. This course also combines both lectures and practical seminars. The future graduates will be well-prepared to work within media, art industry, design, computer services, etc. The entry requirements include a general university entry qualification, as well as an aptitude test.
