The “Master of Arts in Illustration” is provided by the HAW Hamburg University of Applied Sciences as a three-semester, German-taught program. The main purpose of this postgraduate course is to expand the students’ knowledge and skills in illustration. Furthermore, the participants will deepen their understanding in graphic design, graphic novels, books made for children, comics, illustration quality and development, innovation design, etc. After successful graduation, the participants will be well-prepared to work across different organisations, illustration agencies, books editing and publishing and many others. The admission requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and language skills: German DSH2.
