The “Bachelor of Arts in Library and Information Management” is provided by the HAW Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. This German-taught course is divided into six semesters. It aims to introduce students to the basics of library and information management. Furthermore, the students will deepen their understanding in the fields of research environment, media literacy, library studies, sociology, innovation, human resource management and many others. The future graduates will be well-prepared to work within libraries, information management teams, communication services, education, etc. The admission requirements consist of a general university entry qualification.
