The degree program “Master of Science in Process Engineering” at Hamburg University of Technology provides a full-time study course with a duration of four semesters. Study course main focus is to teach students how to convert substances in their type, their properties or their composition using physical Chemical and biological processes with the aim of producing useful intermediate or and products such as fuels, sugar, plastics, proteins, cosmetics, dyes, alcohols and drugs as well. Discourse participants will learn how to recognise and formulate principles with which apparatus, machines and entire production plans can be planned, calculated, constructed, built and operated. The main topics that this program is covering our chemistry, mathematics, health and safety and instrumentation and control. Because of the wide variety of industry and the high demand there are many career choices that graduates can choose from towards the end of the study, some excellent examples are manufacturing process technician, water plant operator and power plant operator.
