The degree program „Master of Science in

Product Development, Materials and Production” at Hamburg University of Technology provides a full-time study course with a duration of four semesters. This study course main focus is to deepen the engineering, mathematical and natural science knowledge and to teach students how to independently solve responsible tasks in industry and research. Throughout their studies participants will learn more about product development processes, strategic product planning, methodical development of products including concept development, structuring, material selection, simulation and testing, production and modern manufacturing processes. Some topics covered in this program are product development, materials and manufacturing, simulation and optimisation. After successfully completing this course graduates will be qualified to work in in the fields of research, design, materials and production processes as well as computer simulation of products.
