Hannover Medical School, founded in 1961, is a public higher education institution seated in Hanover, Lower Saxony. More than 3,300 currently attend study programs in the fields of Medicine, Bioscience and Health Science. The scope of medical studies includes the State Examination programs “Medicine“ and “Dental Medicine“. The range of studies relating to Bioscience includes the degree programs “Biochemistry“ (B.Sc., M.Sc.), “Biomedicine“ (M.Sc.), and “Infection Biology“ (M.Sc.). Among the study programs relating to Health Science are “Public Health“ (M.Sc.), “Midwifery“ (M.Sc.), as well as “Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy“ (M.Sc.).
