Description
The Federal Employment Agency in Germany offers the Bachelor degree course “Bachelor of Arts in Labor Market Management” at its own university – University of Applied Labor Studies of the Federal Employment Agency, HdBA for short. Apart from being one of the biggest employers, the agency also possesses the best expertise in preparing professionals to deal with the education for labor insertion, legal and advisory services in the market policy or employment agencies. Structured as modules, the subjects taught are given within a period of five trimesters, and bring students 180 ECTS. There are four internship periods and the last trimester is for the bachelor thesis. Areas to be covered include fundamentals of business management and administrative operations, fundamentals of economics – macro and microeconomics, as well as market analysis, labor market theory and statistics, HR management, public management, employer consulting – business and recruitment, public control, marketing, labor market policy instrument, and many more. The course is delivered at both campuses – Mannheim and Schwerin.
