The six-semester interdisciplinary study program “Bachelor of Arts in Prevention and Health Promotion” offered by Heidelberg University of Education provides students with the needed knowledge in order to be able to ensure people that it is important to care about their health. Participants will grasp the most significant tactics and procedures of health promotion and will be able to develop, execute, and assess health-promoting methods and measures in a scientifically valid way. They will learn how to assist individuals in advocating for their own health-related concerns. The course of study blends theory and science with practice in a great way. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are entitled “Health promoter”. They will be qualified to work in health insurance companies, educational institutions, municipalities, care facilities, etc.
