The consecutive master’s program “Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering” at Heidelberg University includes a combination of physics, mathematics, engineering, biology and medicine for diagnostics and therapeutics. The training runs over four semesters and is in English. The program aims to train students with abilities and knowledge to conduct independent work and research in the areas of biomedical engineering, computer science and medical physics. The course structure is based on the topics of Anatomy, Physiology, Genetics, Biophysics, Medical Imaging, Computational Medical Physics, Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy. Students acquire knowledge and competencies in anatomy, physiology, genetics, biophysics, engineering mathematics and programming.
