Description

The six-semester minor (25%) course “Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Studies” at Heidelberg University introduces students to traditional and contemporary aspects of China and its present contact with other regions. The program focuses on cultural aspects and historical development to the modern-day and regional interrelations. With a dual focus, students concentrate on subject-specific content and practice-oriented skills, learn the Chinese language, and develop the ability to solve relevant research questions. In addition, the Bachelor of Arts (25%) is in conjunction with a major in the Bachelor of Arts (75%) in East Asian Studies. Graduates receive the practical skills necessary to enter professional employment.
