The consecutive program “Master of Arts in Chinese Studies” at Heidelberg University includes the study of the traditional and contemporary aspects of China in depth. The course concentrates on the examination of specific China-related topics. The conduct period of the course is four semesters and is in German, English and Chinese. Students learn in-depth research methods and subject-specific content in the field of Sinology, broaden and deepen their knowledge and enhance their linguistic skills. Graduates become professionals and gain a comprehensive, transcultural and comparative understanding of Chinese culture and society.
