The course “Bachelor of Arts in Computational Linguistics” at Heidelberg University studies how human language can be processed and interpreted automatically. The program aims to acquire in-depth knowledge of aspects of theoretical or applied computer science. The 75% weighted course is taught over six semesters in German and English. During the course, students are introduced to the most important data structures in computer science, know the methods for analyzing the execution time of algorithms. Graduates have acquired the fundamentals of the core subject and can develop practical applications.
