The program “Bachelor of Arts in Education Studies” at Heidelberg University is six semesters long and taught in German and English. The course focuses on the processes of professionalization in education. The curriculum includes topics of child-raising, socialization and education, teaching and learning, instruction, consultation, and innovation. In the minor-25% training, students acquire the fundamentals of Educational Science, learn the educational processes of individuals and their framework conditions in society, participate in the EASI-Day, and have an internship. Graduates have competence in participating in transdisciplinary dialogue in the areas of child-raising, socialization, and education.
