Description
The study program “Bachelor of Arts in Egyptology” provided at Heidelberg University dives deep into the ancient history, culture and archaeological studies of Egypt. The focal point of the course is the philological field. Students can complete this program in six semesters and both full-time and part-time formats are available. The career realization possible after graduation is in the field of scientific research and teaching at universities, in the German Archaeological Institute, Cairo Department, in museums with Egyptian collections, in publishing houses, libraries and archives, in institutions of adult education, in documentation departments and more.
