The vocational teaching degree component “Master of Education in English” at Heidelberg University is devoted to the study of English language, literature, culture and historical development. The course has a length of four semesters. The objective of the training is to broaden and deepen the knowledge and abilities developed in the Bachelor's degree. In the fourth semester, students must culminate the program by writing a master’s thesis. Graduates gain highly qualified skills and can, for instance, start working in schools.
