The consecutive course “Bachelor of Arts in European Art History” at Heidelberg University lasts four semesters. The program aims to teach students to perform research within an international art perspective, including material and conceptual aspects. The program encompasses all the epochs of European Art history. Throughout the first three semesters, students attend advanced seminars and lectures on European art history topics. The course offers eight excursion days, internships, seminars, free choice of three courses and study abroad. Students expand their knowledge and can evaluate works of art and sculpture, as well as works of architecture and arts and crafts.
