The consecutive, vocational teaching degree program component “Master of Education in French” at Heidelberg University is four semesters long. The goal of the course is to prepare students for a teaching career and provide them with a thorough knowledge of Romance languages, literature and culture. In addition, the program concentrates more particularly on the French-speaking world. Students acquire high-quality knowledge of literary studies, cultural studies, linguistics, language practice and Subject didactics. The admission requirement is that applicants possess a polyvalent bachelor's degree with the ability to teach or a relevant bachelor's or master's degree with the professional objective of becoming a teacher.
