The consecutive program “Master of Science in Geography” at Heidelberg University lasts four semesters and is conducted primarily in German. The course extends and deepens the knowledge already acquired from the Bachelor's degree and develops additional theoretical and practical competencies for better career opportunities or further research. The program offers modules, most of which are optional, and students can build their curriculum and pursue their interests. Students learn to utilize quantitative and qualitative methods to record, describe, analyze and explain social and scientific processes.
