The course “Bachelor of Arts in German Studies” at Heidelberg University lasts six semesters. The program focuses on German language and literature from their origins to the contemporary period, examining their social and cultural connections. The training constitutes 33% of the program and goes along with the degree program in Gerontology, Health and Care-67%. The curriculum includes an Introductory Phase, an Intermediary Phase and a Specialization Phase, as well as consists of four modules.
