The “Master of Education in Greek” degree program component at Heidelberg University study Ancient Greek from the point of view of literary studies and linguistics. In addition, the culture of Ancient Greece is included in the program to understand the historical texts. The training has a duration of four semesters. The course is composed of compulsory modules and elective modules. Students improve their translation and interpretation skills and learn various methods and theories related to literary studies and linguistics. Graduates can present and discuss ancient texts through contemporary perspectives and reflections, and students acquire initial practical experience in teaching.
