Description
The “Bachelor of Arts in History” program at Heidelberg University is six semesters long and is in German, English and some cases in other languages. The course aims to provide students with general scientific qualifications and broad fundamental knowledge of History in kind of aspects. The duration of the major-75% is six semesters and is taught in German and English, in exceptional cases others. The course concentrates on ancient, medieval, modern, and contemporary History. Students learn to research relevant sources, including Latin, and use their basic scientific knowledge to interpret them by applying the source criticism method.
