The program “Bachelor of Arts in Jewish Studies” at Heidelberg University has a duration of six semesters. The course examines the Jewish religion, culture and history from the Antique period to the contemporary world. The syllabus contains three introductory modules, an advanced and a specialized module. Furthermore, the minor (25%) provides compulsory and elective modules from which students to choose. The curriculum includes the topics of philological, hermeneutical, and systematic. Students gain fundamental knowledge of Hebrew and develop good language skills.
