Description
The full-time Legum Magister program “Law” at Heidelberg University has a continuation of two semesters. The course introduces students to the fundamental elements of the German legal system, including international and European law. In addition, the program serves as a supplementary qualification. The syllabus comprises six modules, Civil Law, Public Law, seminars, lectures, colloquia, Magister thesis and Oral Magister Examination. Students acquire competencies in scientific working methods in dealing with law, with its foundations in legal history, philosophy, sociology, comparative law or legal methodology or criminology. Graduates possess broad career opportunities in companies, legal firms, organizations, and more.
