The study course “Master of Arts in Near Eastern Archaeology” at Heidelberg University has the purpose to concentrates students on the settlement and cultural history of the Ancient Near East. The main focus of the program is on gaining more experience in archaeological field research. The continuation of the degree is four semesters and conducted in German and English. Students establish their undergraduate knowledge from the Bachelor’s degree and improve their skills in classifying and dating archaeological materials. Graduates are qualified for independent scientific work.
